this hotel was simply NOT the experience I expected. my room had limp, flat pillows that literally ruined my sleep, and for some reson, I had to drag my heavy suitcase up several stairs—woudl ve been nice if staff had just helped. almost thought about leaving a good review, but I just couldn't.

soundproofing quality, air conditioning unit, proximity to urban train stations
The shower ceiling left much to be desired!!! Basic amenities like shampoo shortages and a lack of sockets by each bed were disappointing!!! A few extra details like room cleanliness and a kettle could elevate the overall experience.

You absolutely have to try the pad thai nearby—it's a street food dream! Also, the location couldn’t be beat. you're steps away from superb shops and impressive eateries like Far East and Indian Village. Our room was clean and had great soundproofing too, really allowing us to relax after our culinary adventures.
Now, a cheeky heads-up, the carpet was pretty grungy, which wasn't the best vibe. And seeing staff munching in front of guests felt slightly off, though it was just a minor blip in an otherwise great stay.

The hotel offers solid soundproofing, allowing for peaceful nights despite proximity to the train line. Proximity to key sights is a major plus, with easy access to transport options and attractions nearby.
Check-in experience left much to be desired, with our room not ready at the promised time. We ended up with two rooms due to a miss on their part, one of which had an unpleasant odor in the bathroom. The $10.50 breakfast felt overpriced for what was provided, and cleanliness in the bathroom could use some attention—mold in the shower tiles was a notable downside.

Totally recommend for a brief weekend stay
Clean room, clean bathroom, with a flat-screen TV and a snack bar that made my stay enjoyable and convenient, especially since it was just a 5-minute walk to the nearest subway station for easy city exploration.

Excellent soundproofing and perfect location
I appreciated the soundproofing in my room, which kept the noise from the nearby train line at bay, allowing for restful nights. The hotel is a stone's throw from Alexanderplatz, making it super convenient for sightseeing. However, I did find the pillows to be disappointingly flat and wish there were more options available.
